Founded on the 2nd of February 2020, Peoplesville is the oldest state in Baliga. It often goes by the name Baliga City. Its flag, created on the 4th of February 2020, by the Premier of the PRM and UPRSP, was going to be used as the national flag of Baliga, but a better flag was created. Instead it was used as the flag of Baliga City, the Baligan Capital.
The state is directly governed by President Henry Picard of Baliga. Unlike in the states of New Peoplesville and Tilloe, the President does not have an assembly to advise him on policy for Peoplesville. This means laws in the capital are often different to those in the rest of the United Republic.
Baliga City is home to many key organisations in the United Republic of Baliga, such as The Baligan Bulletin. It is also the state in which the President traditionally resides, though as of late he has spent more time residing in New Peoplesville. Baliga City is the smallest state in Baliga, with a population of 2.
